Job Title: Regional Healthcare Partnership and Access Manager
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Job Objective
- Implementation of Market Access element of the Brand Strategy for Cardiovascular/Lipid Management, Diabetes/Cardiovascular-Renal Metabolic, and Dermatology/Psoriasis through Integrated Account Management.
- Ensure rapid access to innovative medicines, anticipate access barriers, work to achieve optimal positioning and funding of Menarini’s products in line with brand strategy and Menarini’s value proposition
- A comprehensive understanding of the NHS environment including Integrated Care Systems or the relevant devolved nation equivalent
- Proactively responding to the changing NHS environment and payer needs and share insights across organisation
- Analysis of patient pathways to identify pinch points and inefficiencies to support the development and project management of solutions in order to improve the efficiency of these pathways to demonstrably improve the use of NHS resources and patient care
- Deliver projects that improve patient outcomes and create efficiencies within the NHS and reduce health inequalities for people across the UK
- Collaborate with the NHS to pool skills, experience and resources to deliver projects that support the appropriate use of medicines in line with local or national guidance through Collaborative and Joint working projects in line with Menarini’s SOPs and approved briefing
- Lead customer engagement and market development efforts for the Anti-Infective portfolio, ensuring alignment with national stewardship priorities and brand strategy.
- Identify and develop targeted relationships with key stakeholders involved in infection management, including microbiologists, infectious disease specialists, and hospital pharmacy leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Act with the highest ethical standards in accordance with Menarini’s policies, procedures, local laws, regulations and the ABPI Code of Practice.
Anti-Infective Portfolio Responsibilities
- Drive field-based promotional and educational engagement for the Anti-Infective portfolio, tailored to local clinical needs and prescribing behaviours.
- Identify opportunities for formulary inclusion, guideline alignment, and treatment pathway
integration for Menarini’s anti-infective products. - Engage infection control teams and antimicrobial stewardship committees to support appropriate use and awareness of Menarini's solutions.
- Collaborate with the broader commercial and medical teams to ensure integrated account plans reflect Anti-Infective priorities and access opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resistance trends, NHS stewardship goals, and policy changes affecting anti-infective prescribing.
Promotional Activities
- Plays a leading part within the infield team and identifies opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives and optimise the performance of key accounts.
- Maps and understands the role that all key stakeholders play in relation to influencing, decision making and funding mechanisms across the assigned territory
- Achieves targets and functional outcomes in line with actions in the integrated account management plans.
- Ensures optimal funding of Menarini’s products through negotiation on designated commercial pricing schemes.
- Documents and shares insights with the organisation, including other areas of the organisation that may interact with payers such as pricing and contracts and Government Affairs
- Develops plans with clear objectives, Milestones, contingencies and next step actions to optimise the funding & access of Menarini’s products
- Identifies and shapes multi-stakeholder projects which add value to the NHS and that position Menarini as a trusted and expert partner company.
- Where appropriate, supports contracting and tendering processes and facilitate the development and delivery of proposals
Non promotional activities
- Delivery of Advanced Budget Notification in line with ABPI Code of Practice, Menarini’s SOPs, Menarini’s processes and approved briefing.
- Collaborative and Joint working projects in line with Menarini’s SOPs, Menarini’s processes and approved briefing and these activities must be delivered separately from any promotional activities.

Qualifications and Personal attributes
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or other relevant areas
- ABPI qualified
- Previous experience in In-field Market Access preferred
- Launching new pharmaceutical products into an HTA or single-payer market
- Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare system at all levels (ICS or devolved nation equivalent, Trust, National/Regional
- Experience and strong ability in working collaboratively across matrix functions
Salary and benefits:
- Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience.
- Incentive: Discretionary incentive scheme based on portfolio sales growth and performance.
- Pension: Defined pension contributions (3% employee contribution, 10% Company contribution).

- Working hours: 37.5 hours each week, with the flexibility to work additional hour’s necessary to carry out
duties which may include travelling or attending meetings and/or congresses.
