iPads donated to children of Bourne End Academy to support learning

Pharmaceutical Company, A. Menarini Farmaceutica Internazionale Srl., are proud to support their local community by donating 27 iPad devices to Bourne End Academy, a co-educational secondary school with roughly 850 pupils in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.

The iPads will support pupils from age 11 to 18 years old to access the tools and materials they need for their daily curriculum. A proportion of the children are supported in homework clubs because they do not have access to devices at home thereby they cannot access the homework platforms. All homework is web based and app based.

Head teacher of Bourne End Academy, Louise Cowley said, “We would like to pass our sincere thanks for this gift, many of our children don’t always have access to the equipment needed to be productive in a modern classroom and the iPads will support their learning a great deal.”
